A Story Of The Ages
My Cousin recently told me something that will never depart from my spirit.. As we sat down by the river during the conclusion of the annual Manitoba Parkinson Walk, he began to speak to me about something that had happened.. At first I was quite tentative to what he was about to share with me, as I am when most people tell me that they have a good story. But once the story began I was hooked on to his every word.. So I thought I would share with the few faithful followers I still have to Pigeonspoo.. Enjoy
This cousin has a friend who lives up in a smaller community in Northern Manitoba called 'The Pas'. This friend of my cousin is in his mid-life, living with his 17 year old son. Now the son, who is a rather large kid for only 17, has a fairly common condition which effects many people throughout the world. That condition is Autism.. As we all know Autism can be a confusing disease.. And produces some 'side effects' that just seem... well.. bizarre.. Anyways this young man had one of these weird 'side effects' which caused him to have a raging fetish for all things small.. Ever since he was a child he collected every kind of Troll, Gnome, Leprechaun, Dwarf, etc.. needless to say, he LOVES them... the father was well aware of this obsession and was not surprised when while sitting at his desk one day at work, he received a phone call from his home number. The ecstatic voice on the other line was on the verge of screaming "DAD, DAD I CAUGHT A REAL LIVE TROLL!''.... Obviously having heard things similar to this before the dad quickly ended the conversation with a 'that’s great son, I will see it after work' and hung up. After 2 or 3 more calls of sheer excitement the father became a bit more concerning and decided that he should take a quick break to run home and make sure everything was alright..
Upon arriving at the house, the son was already waiting in the hallway with a bodacious smile that resembled one of a child who had just seen it’s first real life elephant, or a grown man who had originally invested in Facebook at $1/share... "DAD, DAD QUICK COME SEE!!!' the boy screamed as his dad removed his boots.. 'All right son, where is it' he replied. He then followed his son into the son’s room only to see all the furniture from the entire room pushed against the closet door.. The father, obviously shocked, asked the son what he had been doing!! The son replied 'I HAVE IT! IT'S LOCKED IN THE CLOSET!'. So they removed the layers of bed, dresser, nightstands, various gnome statues, etc until the Closet was now free. They opened the door, slowly and with some anticipation on the fathers end of what he was going to find.. The door opened just enough to allow for the light of the room to pierce the darkness, slowly revealing the shape of something huddled on the floor... to the fathers extreme surprise, there sat with tears forming at the brink of his eyes a 3 foot nothing midget!!! The small fellow was a Jehovah’s Witness and had been going door to door in the neighborhood discussing his faith in an attempt to convert new believers~
Unfortunately, when he reached this house, he was completely unprepared for a possibility that someone may just have an autistic son with a fetish for tiny persons!! The son had quickly pounced him and barricaded him in his closet for close to 4 hours! Later, after threats of legal action, a quick sit down meeting to explain the Childs autism quickly folded any chance of a charge..
As a disclaimer
I felt off color sharing this via internet.. but it is a great story.. and ‘Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. red, and yellow, autistic, or with no height. They are precious in his sight~! ‘
don’t hate or discriminate people! haha just enjoy the story and go hug a small person... but dont lock them in your closet..
its not nice... ;)

The Opposite of Courage is not Cowardice, but Conformity.
David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished 1 Chronicles 28:20

interesting story....
i told ya muslims are crazy!!! this is a rather interesting tidbit.... quite the wierd story
DENVER - A Colorado woman has been detained in Ireland in connection with an alleged plot to assassinate a Swedish cartoonist whose sketch offended many Muslims, a U.S. official said Saturday.
Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, 31, was among seven people arrested in Ireland this week as authorities investigate an alleged plot to kill cartoonist Lars Vilks over a 2007 sketch depicting the head of the Prophet Muhammad on a dog's body. The drawing provoked terror front Al-Qaida in Iraq to offer a $100,000 bounty for his slaying.
The U.S. official spoke on condition of anonymity.
It's not clear whether Paulin-Ramirez might face terror charges.
Her mother Christina Mott, of Leadville, Colo., told The Associated Press that she learned of her daughter's arrest in the case from the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies.
Denver FBI officials said Friday they couldn't confirm that the FBI had contacted Mott about the case.
Dean Boyd, a Justice Department spokesman, said the agency was aware of the arrests in Ireland but had no comment on the identities of those taken into custody. "Our investigation continues," he said.
Mott said that Paulin-Ramirez told her family after she left in September that she went to Ireland with her 6-year-old son and married an Algerian whom she met online. Before abruptly leaving Colorado, Paulin-Ramirez had been a straight-A nursing student, her mother said.
'This is about my baby'
Earlier this week, Irish authorities announced the arrest of seven Muslims in the alleged plot, only identifying them as three Algerians, a Libyan, a Palestinian, a Croatian and an American woman married to one of the Algerians. They were arrested Tuesday, hours before U.S. authorities unveiled a terror indictment against LaRose.
On Saturday, Irish police said that three of those arrested had been released without charges, while three other men and an American woman remain in custody.
Irish police refused to confirm whether Paulin-Ramirez is the woman in custody, and have declined to release the identities of any of those arrested.
The Wall Street Journal, quoting anonymous sources familiar with the case, first reported on its Web site that Paulin-Ramirez was being held in the alleged plot.
Christine Mott said she's concerned for the welfare of her grandson, who has been placed in the custody of Ireland's foster care system.
"This is about my baby," Christine Mott said. "We need some help to get this baby back. I'm concerned about my daughter but I'm concerned about our baby boy because he shouldn't be caught in the middle of this."
The Motts said Paulin-Ramirez announced to her family last spring that she was converting to Islam and began wearing headscarves, and later a hijab.
"It came out of left field," Christine Mott said. "I knew she was talking to these people online... What caused her to turn her back on her country, on her family and become this person? I don't know how or why. All I know is she was in contact with this Jihad Jane.
"The only thing I could think of is that they brainwashed her."
